The Berger Action Fund provides support to organizations that advocate for solutions to some of our world’s biggest problems: the biodiversity and climate crises, income inequality, and health disparities.

GRANTS

Our philanthropic giving has helped advance policies that improve lives for all Americans. Recent notable achievements include advocating for climate investments in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, ensuring the Inflation Reduction Act lowered prescription drug costs and increased access to health care, and supporting legislative efforts to fulfill the 30×30 conservation pledge.

The Berger Action Fund is an independent 501(c)(4), nonprofit organization. Grantmaking is by invitation only. All grantmaking decisions are made by our independent board.

Berger works with the Wyss Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to driving innovative, lasting solutions that improve lives, empower communities, and strengthen connections to the land. The Wyss Foundation’s philanthropic efforts include investments in conservation, economic opportunity, medical advancements, and the arts. Learn more at wyssfoundation.org.
